Sunday

This past Sunday was cold, rainy and just down right miserable! After we got back from church I cooked a big pot of chicken rice soup and Jack took a long nap. When he woke up we snuggled on the couch for a while and then Jack decided to lay back and stretch out...it was adorable!

Jack's First Hiking Trip

Saturday was absolutely beautiful, so we had to get outside. It was even warm enough for us to let Jack wear shorts! We went to Stone Mountain were there is an abundance of hiking trails! We hiked around the top of the mountain to the waterfalls and then went down about 50 flights or more of stairs to the bottom of the falls, and it was SO worth it! It was beautiful and Jack loved putting his feet in the water! We sat on the rocks at the bottom and enjoyed the sunshine while Loxlee ran and splashed in the water! As much as I want to move back home to be closer to my Momma, Saturday reminded me why I love living in the Mountains! Jack was so exhausted when we got home he took a 3.5 hour nap! It was a wonderful day and we can't wait to go again!

Starting to Crawl

Jack has been sitting on his own since he was about 5 1/2 months old so we new it was time for him to begin the early stages of learning to crawl, which is really hard to believe! Lately he has really been working on it, we know he will be mobile really soon....watch the video below to see for yourself :)!!

Jack is also working on all 4 of his top front teeth, 2 of them broke through today and I know it will only be a matter of a day or two before all 4 of them will be through.

Things change so quickly, we are so ready for warm weather! I am ready for Jack to go out in bare feet and play in the grass we are also looking forward to the end of May when school gets out and we have almost 3 months to spend at home with Jack!!
