Pulling Up

Jack is into everything these days, nothing is safe!! He is pulling up like crazy, if you stand still long enough he will pull up on your leg! He is cruising now, and can stand by himself for several seconds. Even though my degree is child development, I am still amazed at how fast it all happens! Hope you enjoy the video...

Jack has been crawling for awhile now. Tonight I had a chance to video him and I thought I would share it!

Tuckered Out

Jack loves going to Mrs. Gail's...when we pull up in the driveway he starts kicking and babbling away! But it sure does wear him out! Now that he is crawling and pulling up Mrs. Gail says that he is into everything! There is a little girl that is there and she is about 7 months old. Jack crawls all over her, literally! Gail said that Jack gives her lovin' on her forehead and then smacks her, he is trying to be nice ;)! He also likes to squeeze her nose! It is never ever easy to leave him, but I am comforted knowing that he enjoys being there! These are some pictures that I took of him when we got home yesterday. He played for a few minutes then just gave out...

He is sooo long!! He is defintately going to be tall like his daddy!

Fun Times

This afternoon when Jack and I got home we spent some time hanging out. First I got out a mirror for him to play with...Jack LOVES to look at himself (he gets this from his Aunt Rae!)

Then we ate supper...

Then when daddy got home from class, Jack decided he needed to check his email!

8 Months Old

Jack turned 8 months old on the 7th! I know I say this ALL the time, but he lights up my life, gives me a reason to smile and when I look at him, hold him, watch him learn something new my heart feels as if it is going to explode. I never knew that I had this much love inside of me.


We definately have our hands full with this little man, he is such a fast learner. Once he does something one time he has mastered it. He has been crawling for awhile, and now he is pulling up on EVERYTHING! He has always had an overwhelming desire to GO..and I am sure it won't be long and we will be chasing after him. Now if we can learn to get back down gracefully...thank heavens for Pampers :) He thinks he is great at it though....he claps for himself everytime he kabooms down on his bottom!!

*He LOVES Blueberries, Green Beans and Gerber Sweet Potato Puffs
*He is all mamas boy!
*He loves to blow rasberries on my cheeks
*He has 6 teeth: 4 on top 2 on bottom and will use them!
*He likes to play in the laundry basket

*He pulls drawers open and takes everything out

*His favorite things to play with: Dish Remote and the laptops

*He likes to clap and expects us to clap for him (precious)

*He can wave and says "buh buh" when he does

I am counting down the days to summer break...33 to go!

**Dustin's best friend Cliff, serves in the Navy and we haven't seen him in 3 years! He was home this past weekend so we were able to spend some time him, his lovely wife Jill and their beautiful daughter Quinn! You will see a picture of them below. They gave Jack the drum that you will see in his 8 month old pictures!

Spring Break

This week has been absolutey a Godsend! I have been able to spend every second of everyday with Jack. Daddy still had to work so it has been me and Jack! We have had a blast! We bought him a swing for our swing set and he LOVES it he squeals everytime I give him a push! We have played in the grass (tasted some too!), blown bubbles, played in the sand (ate some of that too!), chased the cats around the yard, learned to pull up to a standing position, learned how much fun toilet paper really is!, started saying Mama and meaning it, learned to wave.....and we laughed and laughed until my tummy hurt!! Below are a few of the pictures of our week together!

Jack woke up from his nap and when I walked in his room this is what I saw!!

Easter Sunday was beautiful! I was thinking back to last Easter when we were saying "this time next year Jack will be celebrating his first Easter with us!" It was even more special having him here with us! He Loved playing with the plastic eggs and we haven't been able to sneak them away just yet, he is fasinated by them! Enjoy the pictures!
